Rhodes University Seventh-Day Adventist Student Movement
Our Mission is to facilitate the proclamation of the everlasting gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, as embodied in the Three Angels Messages of Revelations 14 v 6 - 12 to all students.Our vision is to equip all SDASM members and facilitate ministries that are efficient and purpose-driven toward the realisation of the SDASM mission.
Our Objectives are :
- To strengthen the faith commitment of the students to the Seventh-Day Adventist beliefs and values
- To provide oppoturnities for christian fellowship among students, who hold membership in the organisation
- To prepare students to deal with the challenges that arise in a secliar environment
- To develop student leadership abilities
- To train students for outreach and withnessing on the campus, in the community, and the world at large
- To keep students informed of recent trends and concerns of the Seventh-Day Adventist denomination
- To create an environment of interaction between Seventh-Day Adventist students, and staff on campus
- To equip our students with biblical principles that will help them face the challenges of the business world, the post-academic life and to be service to the church
Membership is open to to non Seventh-Day Adventist students who express like interest in the Seventh-Day Adventist belief and values, and subscribes to the objectives of the organistation.
